What a video agency really is
It’s worth clarifying because the term is used loosely. In Danish parlance, “videobureau” often refers to a company that:
Helps with strategic clarification and concept development before production – that is, defining goals, target audience and format. Produce the video itself (or have a close production team in-house). Deliver a finished product ready to use on the channel.
It differs from a pure production house, which typically produces from an external script/concept, and from a pure advertising agency, which typically develops campaigns but outsources production to subcontractors.
When looking for a video agency, you’re probably looking for one of these two benefits: one supplier instead of two (fewer handover issues), or strategic depth in the production itself (not just “we record what you say”).

Most Danish video agencies outsource the studio and rely on external booking. We can move a shoot to the day after tomorrow because the studio is ours. This means shorter production times, lower logistics costs, and the ability to test ideas quickly rather than waiting.
One team from brief to delivery
The person who took the briefing is the same person you meet on the recording and in the grading suite. No surrender mistakes. The insights we gain in phase 1 go directly into phases 4 and 5.
Local with a national focus
We are based in Svendborg, but produce for customers throughout Denmark and internationally. This provides logistical flexibility – and a cultural distance from the agency bubbles of the capital.

How we work as your video agency

Brief & strategy → concept & script → pre-production → shooting → post-production → delivery & measurement. You are involved in phases 1, 2, part of 5 and 6. We handle the other phases internally and report the status on an ongoing basis.
When you work with us as your video agency for a longer period of time, we recommend setting up an annual agreement. This gives you predictable capacity, priority booking and better prices. Most commonly used by companies doing 6-15 video projects per year.
What does it cost to work with a video agency?
It varies significantly by scope. As a guide: A single video project typically 50,000-300,000 DKK. A campaign package (3-5 deliveries): 200,000-700,000 DKK. An annual agreement: 250,000-1,500,000 DKK/year depending on volume.

What is the difference between a video agency and a production house?
A production house typically produces from an external script or concept – they are strong on the actual production, not necessarily on the strategic clarification beforehand. Should I have a fixed video agency or switch between several?
It depends on the volume. If you make 1-3 videos a year, it’s fine to go ad hoc. If you make 5+ a year, you’ll save time and money by having one fixed agency getting to know you. That’s one of the reasons we offer annual contracts.
Do you accept small jobs or only large campaigns?
We do both. We have customers who make one video a year for $60,000, and customers who make 20+ videos a year for seven-figure budgets. It’s not the size that matters – it’s that there’s a clear goal.
Where is your studio and can we visit it?
Grønlandsvej 2, 5700 Svendborg, Denmark. It is fully equipped with lighting, green screen, grading suite and sound stage. You are welcome to visit before you decide – it’s part of the bidding process.
Can you travel to shoots outside of Denmark?
Yes, we do. We travel internationally when the project calls for it. We have produced on location in the UK, Germany, Norway and the rest of the Nordics.
